Natalie Comes Home!

Our journey to adopting our daughter from China. A hundred years from now it will not matter what size my bank account was or the kind of car I drove...but the world may be different, because I was important in the life of a child.

Our Care Package Has Arrived!

If you are interested, click on the link to your right called
BlessedKids.com. We ordered a care package from them to be sent to our daughter at her orphanage in Shaanxi, Mainland China we just got this email:

I want to let you know that the orphanage has received the care package we sent on your behalf. Many Thanks and Best Wishes!

Xie Xie, Adele

Xie Xie means thank you in Chinese. Our package arrived the day after Chirstmas! We are so excited. We have actually made contact with our little girl! We included a teddy bear, blanket, photos of us, treats for the staff and the all important disposable camera! We hope they will take lots of pictures of our little girl so she will know where she grew up before she joined our family.

We could have sent the package ourselves, but by going through customs, the packages do not always arrive at their destination. Adele has a father who lives in Mainland China and can buy our gifts there and send them regualr post so there is no chance our package will get held up in customs. Adele also calls the orphanage and confirms receipt.

I am telling you now, my heart is sending tons of love to Natalie with that teddy bear!
