Natalie Comes Home!

Our journey to adopting our daughter from China. A hundred years from now it will not matter what size my bank account was or the kind of car I drove...but the world may be different, because I was important in the life of a child.

WE HAVE A MATCH!

Our SW just called Hubby and said we have been matched with our little girl. Her photo and info will be on its way and should be here next week! At long last. I am crying tears of joy :)

Another Delay

Well, things aren't going so quickly in China. Something's up and I don't know what it is, but our date to receive a picture of our little girl has been pushed to December. Even at that, nothing is definite, we may have to wait until January.

Everyone in our group is anxious, because if nothing happens by Chinese New Year (last week in January 2006), then that means another delay, because all government offices will be closed in China.

Things are really meant to happen in their own time, aren't they? Excuse me while I go scream into a pillow...

More Waiting

We are still waiting, no news, no word. Our agency has been great with updates, but we still have not been matched with our little girl. We are ever hopeful we will travel before the end of the year.

It seems we have been waiting so long that I'm afraid to get excited, because I can't take the disappointment if another week goes by with no news. I can't wait until that package gets here and we can see her beautiful face!
