At A Snail's Pace

Yes, we are still waiting! Oy! Yup, there has been another delay. We are now setting our sights to the first week in November. I'm disappointed, DH is saying 'Oh well, only 3 more weeks'.

I think, because we are paying for services, so many of us think the adoption process is a business, but it can't be a business when we are dealing with children. Because human lives are involved, we cannot just expect things to happen on an explicit time schedule. That was my mistake. I attached myself to a timeline. It is just not realistic. I guess I will work in the garden and burn off some of my anxiousness.
